This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced interiors professional to take on a leadership role within a growing workplace team, overseeing the delivery of complex commercial interiors projects. Working alongside a collaborative and highly creative team, you will lead projects from concept through to completion while supporting the continued growth and development of the studio.
Job Description
* Lead workplace interiors projects from concept design through to delivery
* Establish and manage project programmes, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
* Develop fee structures and support project pursuits
* Manage client relationships, anticipating and responding to client expectations throughout the project lifecycle
* Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, supporting their development and performance
* Coordinate internal teams, external consultants and contractors to ensure cohesive project delivery
* Oversee the selection of materials, finishes, furniture and equipment
* Manage construction phase activities including RFIs, submittals and technical documentation
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and construction practices
* Lead presentations to clients and key stakeholders
* Support new business opportunities through professional networks and client relationships
* Maintain high standards of QA/QC across all project documentation
Key Skills
* Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
* Significant experience within commercial interiors, particularly workplace environments
* Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual design, space planning and detailing
* Proven ability to lead and coordinate project teams
* Excellent technical knowledge and strong understanding of construction and documentation processes
* Proficiency in Revit
* Experience managing consultants, contractors and multiple stakeholders
* Strong organisational, communication and presentation skills
* Experience managing project programmes, fees and client relationships
* Interest in sustainable design and innovative workplace solutions
