Role Overview
Due to continued growth and sustaining new and exciting projects, the position of HSEQ Advisor has become available in Lagan MEICA Ltd, to work alongside our HSEQ Manager.
What you'll do
1. Support all projects and departments to meet the requirements of the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Management systems.
2. Supporting the organisation on the CDM requirements on large scale projects, ensuring requirements are met and sufficient governance completed.
3. Provide input into the development, delivery, and maintenance of effective and proactive strategies for managing HSEQ risks, and for improving performance.
4. Provide advice on HSEQ matters for project teams and stakeholders.
5. Ensure compliance with HSEQ legislation, standards and company procedures.
6. Assist in developing and implementing site specific HSEQ plans and risk assessments.
What you'll bring:
Ideally you will come from an HSEQ background and work well under minimal supervision within a team.
Essential Criteria:
7. Qualification in a relevant subject related to construction health and safety management (e.g., NEBOSH Certificate) or equivalent qualifications/experience.
8. Experience in working within confined space entry and controls.
9. Experience revolving around working at height controls and management.
10. Proven experience in implementation of HSEQ Management Systems.
11. Sound working knowledge of HSEQ law, and relevant sector specific HSEQ standards in relation to construction/building, or M&E.
12. Full valid driving license.
13. Excellent communication skills at all levels.
14. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
