The Role
The Sales & Marketing Associate will play a key role in driving growth by supporting the early stages of the sales cycle. This position focuses on identifying opportunities, qualifying leads, and nurturing prospects as part of a collaborative team. The role also involves working closely with marketing to develop tools, processes, and campaigns that enhance lead generation and conversion, while ensuring accurate record keeping to support Sales Operations.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Qualification
* Research and identify potential clients within the reinsurance and specialty insurance sectors
* Qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure alignment with target profiles
* Maintain accurate records of prospects and interactions in CRM systems
* Schedule and coordinate introductory meetings for senior sales team members
* Prepare briefing materials and support follow‑up communications
* Assist in developing proposals and presentations for early‑stage opportunities
* Assist in the collation and creation of RFP responses, ensuring timely and accurate submission
* Gather input from internal stakeholders to compile technical, commercial, and compliance information for proposals
* Maintain a library of standard RFP content and templates to streamline future responses
Marketing Support
* Assist in planning and executing digital marketing campaigns and updating digital platforms
* Monitor campaign performance and report on engagement, conversion, and ROI metrics
* Ensure all marketing materials align with brand guidelines and target audience needs.
* Help organise and promote webinars, conferences, and client events, including logistics and follow‑up
* Work with marketing to refine lead nurturing processes and campaign strategies
* Contribute to the development of sales enablement tools and collateral
* Provide feedback from prospects to inform marketing content and messaging
* Ensure accurate and timely record keeping in CRM and reporting tools
* Support data integrity and assist in generating reports for pipeline visibility
* Ensure best practices are followed for documentation and compliance in sales processes
Process Development
* Support the implementation of scalable workflows for lead management and reporting
* Help define best practices for prospect engagement and qualification
Required skills & experience
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales or business development role (B2B preferred)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
* Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Comfortable using CRM systems and digital tools for prospecting and reporting
* Collaborative mindset with willingness to work across teams and functions
* Sector knowledge not required – training will be provided

Location
This is a hybrid role, based in our Oxford office with an additional office in Bristol.
