Senior Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support are at the heart of our management teams. Were currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our brand new brain injury rehabilitation residential service in Clowne, Chesterfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of a brand new service which opened in April 2024 with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people! As a Senior Support Worker with us youll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervisions, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. Youll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support. Responsibilities
As a Senior Support Worker you will support the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. Activities may include allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are assisted to manage their finances. You will lead by example and work closely with the therapy lead in service to ensure therapy programmes, exercises and skills are completed in line with the support plans. You will help ensure a high standard of care and support and act as a role model for colleagues in delivering person-centred support.
Qualifications and Experience
We are interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This service looks for:
* Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker
* A Level 3 in Health & Social Care
* Experience working with individuals with acquired brain injuries
