The Role of Sales within UTAX
The Indirect Sales Department develops and promotes the UTAX Brand in the UK, attracting new business and supporting our existing dealer network. This involves creating new strategies, leveraging technological advancements, and keeping everyone informed about our latest innovations. Our mission is to give our partners a competitive edge, helping them differentiate and succeed. We are responsive to market changes and buyer behaviors, offering comprehensive business development options for our partners.
Overall Role Purpose
The Area Sales Manager maintains and develops business within an existing client portfolio and identifies new business partners to grow the business.
This role requires exceptional sales skills to meet or exceed personal sales and activity targets continually.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Heads of Sales in developing and executing sales strategies and tactics.
* Recruit and manage new dealers effectively.
* Manage the area to achieve monthly and yearly turnover and recruitment targets.
* Collaborate with channel partners to maximize sales revenue and develop growth plans.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments.
* Assist partners' sales teams with end-user visits to ensure sell-through.
* Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and share this with partners professionally and promptly.
* Process all sales-related administrative tasks accurately and efficiently, including ordering, forecasting, and reporting.
* Support the Heads of Sales and Senior Management with additional duties as needed.
