Overview SPARK - Part of The Mission Group Sales Manager £35,000 Benefits ( £5,000 OTE) Milton Keynes / Hybrid SPARK are one of the marketing industry's best kept secrets and that's partly why we're recruiting for this role. We supply marketing services and closed user-group clubs to help attract and retain new customers and employees as well as creating promotional campaigns to help them to sell more products - the sort of thing you see on supermarket shelves that make products stand out for example. SPARK is a small team. As such we're all "doers" which means you'll be like us, prepared to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in. While we build bespoke campaigns, we also hold the business-to-business sales contracts for companies like Cineworld, Showcase and more and we're looking for someone to help us find new clients for those partners. Those products include the market-leading cinema discount e-commerce platform "The Cinema Society" as well as cinema vouchers sold in bulk. Our clients range from SME's, schools, and public bodies to huge brands such as Kia, McDonald's, Santander, MasterCard and more. We've grown rapidly since opening in 2016, mostly through word of mouth and reacting to opportunities but we'd like to improve our pro-active new business outreach and that's where you come in… Role As a Sales Manager, your role will entail the selling of our clients products to organisations that have membership, benefit and reward programs for members, customers or employees. You'll be responsible for identifying, researching, and approaching relevant businesses, with the support from our in-house marketing team but will own and manage the end-to-end process yourself You'll need to have experience of working with a CRM system as you'll be working closely with the marketing team, using the data in our CRM platform (Pipedrive) to organize and automate communications. You'll also be the lead in the Sales team for organizing and keeping data about our clients and targets in the system. You'll also be expected to Account Manage and report to your clients on pipeline progression and new opportunities, as well as working with them directly to establish the right solution to the right opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Perform desktop and field research to identify companies and organisations who would benefit from our services. Work with the Business Development Director and Marketing Team to pro-actively approach those organisations (both in bulk and individually) with solutions appropriate to their needs. Be the sales lead in organizing, maintaining, and updating the Pipedrive CRM system. Respond to business leads with further information and where appropriate conduct sales meetings remotely (or occasionally in person) Where a more bespoke solution is needed, handover the contact to the Business Development Director or other appropriate employee. Handover new projects to the Account Team to ensure a smooth transition of work and excellent customer service. Prepare reports for and regularly meet both internal line manager and clients as required to update them on activity undertaken.
