Our SHCSWs are vital in various settings—community, hospitals, theatres. We offer comprehensive training and development.
The team
The Urgent Community Response Service in Exeter seeks Support Workers. A clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential. The service supports people at home to avoid or facilitate hospital discharges, operating 7 days a week, day and night shifts, across Exeter and surrounding areas.
Hours are full-time, including weekends and evenings at enhanced rates. Experience in community care is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. Candidates need a Level 3 Diploma/NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or relevant experience, and must be IT competent. A driving license and vehicle are mandatory. This role is not available to visa holders.
Support Workers are lone workers but supported by a multidisciplinary team. Our teams are caring, inclusive, and welcoming. For more info, read the attached document.
Working Pattern: Various shifts, including weekends and evenings, with possible enhancements.
