Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.About the role:£Competitive salary (DOE)8am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-1pm Fri = 39 hours weeklyFull-time, permanent positionOpportunity to develop within a growing businessSupportive and collaborative working environmentWhat youll be doing:Liaising with internal departments to plan and coordinate transport loadsArranging and booking transport with approved haulage providersPreparing and maintaining accurate load records and documentationIssuing dispatch paperwork and ensuring timely return of POD (Proof of Delivery) documentationMonitoring transport schedules to ensure delivery targets are metProviding general administrative support to the wider teamSupporting Lean processes and identifying opportunities for improvementEnsuring compliance with quality standards such as ISO 9001, FSC and Q MarkMaintaining professional communication with customers, suppliers, and colleaguesReporting any issues with plant, equipment or processesWhat youll need for this role:Previous transport or logistics administration experience (desirable)Strong attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesGood numeracy and literacy skillsAbility to work independently and use initiativeA positive, enthusiastic and committed attitudeGood commercial awarenessIf this sounds like the next step in your career, wed love to hear from you!
