Duties as a Service Advisor:
* Act as the front line in the Service Department, greeting customers and booking their vehicles into the workshop as a Service Advisor
* Advise customers on minor technical issues, and recommend additional services or products where appropriate
* Coordinate with the workshop team to chase work and provide customers with regular updates on vehicle progress
* Maintain high standards of customer communication, ensuring a first-class service experience
* Handle payments accurately and process all relevant documentation
* Upsell additional services to meet sales targets while prioritising customer satisfaction
* Ensure knowledge of automotive warranty procedures is maintained; liaising with manufacturers when necessary (desirable but not essential)
Requirements:
* One to two years of experience in a Service Advisor position or similar within the motor trade
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational abilities and IT literacy
* Passion for the automotive industry and delivering excellent customer service
* Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures is advantageous
* Ability to build trust and rapport with customers and colleagues alike
