Base pay range
We’re growing, we’re expanding and it’s happening fast, so we’re on the lookout for an electrician to come on board and work on short duration commercial projects. If you join us, you’ll be responsible for owning the job from start to finish, including installation, testing and commissioning. Work may also include planned and reactive maintenance of electrics at our sites. We are known for the quality of our work, so you’ll need extensive experience and high standards.
Location: Northwest England within easy reach of our Operations Hub near Preston.
Supports include a company van, fuel card, tools and equipment, PPE including boots, accommodation and meal allowance when staying away from home (up to 4 nights per week). You will be away from home as part of the role.

Key responsibilities
* Travel and work away from home up to four nights per week to complete electrical installations
* Carry out electrical installations on ANPR systems in line with customer specification and contractual requirements
* Preventative, periodic and reactive maintenance on existing electrics across our car park estate
* Problem solving, problem detection and repairing system faults using a logical approach
* Carry out testing on ANPR equipment
* Ensure safe working practices and adhere to Health & Safety regulations
* Liaise with clients/customers and other on-site trades to obtain information required for the task
* Use a laptop or phone to send/receive emails, edit documents, use Microsoft Teams and complete online training courses
Essential experience and qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a comparable role after completion of electrical apprenticeship
* 18th Edition Electrical Certificate
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical installation/Electrotechnical technology
* Competent in all aspects of electrical installation, maintenance and fault finding
* Experience with containment systems and SWA
* Experience with Electricity at Work Regulations and IEE Wiring Regulations
* Valid driving licence and ability to drive a company van
* Commercial/Industrial experience
* Understanding of single/three phase electrical supplies and control equipment such as contactors
* Experience of testing and inspection
* Competent in working at height and using ladders and access platforms
Desirable experience and qualifications
* ECS Gold Card
* Inspection and testing
* Knowledge of IP addresses and networking hardware configuration
* Experience in data networking/CAT 5 & 6
* Safe Working at Height
* CSCS Card
PLEASE NOTE THAT PROOF OF QUALIFICATIONS WILL BE REQUIRED UPON APPLICATION:
* 18th Edition Electrical Certificate

THIS ROLE IS UK WIDE; THEREFORE UP TO FOUR NIGHTS WORKING AWAY WILL BE REQUIRED.
