About the Role
As the Technical and Capital Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in managing the Council's technical accounting requirements and overseeing its capital programme. This includes ensuring compliance with statutory accounting standards, supporting the production of the Statement of Accounts, and leading on capital financing strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Preparing and reviewing technical accounting reports and ensuring compliance with CIPFA Code of Practice.
