First Military Recruitment are currently supporting one of our established and expanding businesses in the search for a Chassis Convertor.
Our client encourage applications from ex-Military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities for the Chassis Convertor:
1. Modify and convert vehicle chassis to meet specific customer or manufacturer requirements
2. Carry out chassis extensions, shortening, reinforcements, and structural alterations
3. Fit subframes, crossmembers, mounting brackets, and body supports
4. Read and interpret engineering drawings, build sheets, and technical specifications
5. Perform cutting, welding, drilling, and fabrication work to a high standard
6. Install mechanical and electrical components required for chassis conversions
Skills and Qualifications for the Chassis Convertor:
7. You will need to have previous experience as a Chassis Converter
8. A resilient person is someone who has strong coping skills and can draw on these when life presents challenges.
9. To ensure personal and team success, being motivated is essential and is a key part of your role and it is part of being a brilliant team player.
10. Precision in carrying our installations to ensure safety and performance standards.
11. Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within timeframes to meet customer demands and maintain efficiency.

Location: Westbury
Salary: £31,000 to £33,400 per annum
