Maths Teacher – Secondary (KS3–KS5)
Location: Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne
Daily Rate: £163–£263
Protocol Education is recruiting a Maths Teacher to work in a large and academically ambitious secondary school in Gosforth.
The school has a strong focus on attainment, consistency and high-quality teaching. The Maths department is well established, supportive and committed to helping students develop confidence and resilience in numeracy. The school is easily accessible via public transport, including Metro stations and major bus routes.
Role overview:
* Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
* Delivering structured, engaging lessons that support conceptual understanding
* Using assessment data to inform planning and targeted intervention
* Supporting students with gaps in learning or low confidence
* Working collaboratively within a well-organised department
We are looking for teachers who:
* Hold QTS or equivalent
* Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level
* Can explain complex concepts clearly and effectively
* Maintain high expectations while supporting student confidence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
