We are a growing engineering and utilities services provider delivering clean and wastewater pump, drainage, and infrastructure maintenance solutions across commercial, industrial, and domestic environments.
Due to continued expansion, we are seeking experienced and capable Clean & Wastewater Pump and Drainage Engineers to join our field-based team. This is a varied, hands-on role covering pumping systems, drainage networks, civil engineering works, environmental compliance, and hard facilities maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clean & Wastewater Pump and Drainage Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of clean and wastewater pump systems, including foul, surface water, and booster sets
Reactive and planned maintenance of pumping stations, drainage networks, and treatment plant assets
Fault finding, diagnostics, and repair of pumps, motors, valves, pipework, and associated mechanical equipment
Electrical fault diagnosis on control panels, floats, level controls, alarms, and telemetry systems (where trained)
Removal, refurbishment, and replacement of pumps and mechanical components
Installation of pipework, fabricated mechanical assemblies, valves, and plumbing systems to a high standard
Supporting civil engineering activities such as trenching, chamber construction, benching, concrete works, and reinstatement
Carrying out confined space works (low, medium, and high risk - training provided where required)
Completing asset condition surveys, inspections, and reports to support asset management and lifecycle planning
Supporting environmental compliance, pollution prevention measures, and incident response where required
Liaising professionally with site managers, clients, and internal teams while on site
Accurately completing job reports, service sheets, risk assessments, and compliance documentation
Ensuring all works are completed in line with RAMS, health & safety legislation, and industry regulations
Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment to a safe and professional standard
Supporting junior engineers or operatives where required and contributing to team knowledge-sharing
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years' experience in clean and/or wastewater pumping, drainage, or civils
Background in civil engineering, environmental services, or hard FM preferred
Strong mechanical and electrical skills
Full UK driving licence
Proactive, reliable, and detail-focused approach to work
Comfortable working independently or as part of a small, agile team
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime
