Hours: 30 hours per week, 5 days across Monday to Sunday, between 07:00 - 15:00 and 18:00 - 12:00. Weekend work is required due to operational demand.
Location and shifts may be subject to change to meet delivery needs.
Responsibilities
Deliver mail and parcels on assigned routes as a Postperson with Driving, contributing to reliable service for customers in your local community. This is a physical role that involves walking for long periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions. You will be part of delivering for your local area and presenting a friendly, helpful face to customers.
* Safely handle and deliver mail and parcels according to Royal Mail procedures
* Maintain high standards of customer service and community engagement
* Work outdoors in all weather conditions and manage delivery routes
Requirements / Qualifications
* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
* Upbeat, independent and self-motivated
* Organised, punctual and customer-service oriented
* People-person with a friendly presence in the community
* Willing to walk for long periods and work outside in any weather
* A strong sense of community and pride in your work

Please note: Roles listed as 35-40 hours are considered full-time for candidate searches; contracts under 40 hours per week are classed as part-time in employment contracts.
