We’re working with a growing product-led business looking to hire a Senior QA Software Tester to take ownership of quality across their digital platform.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll help shape how QA is done, moving the team towards a more automation-first approach while supporting ongoing product development.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for improving testing capability across the business, working closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality across both customer-facing journeys and internal systems.
A key part of the role will be introducing and scaling automation testing, while supporting an existing QA and helping establish consistent processes across multiple squads.
Key responsibilities include:
* Designing and implementing an automation testing strategy
* Automating core user journeys (sign-up, purchase, account management, delivery changes)
* Establishing QA processes, standards and best practices
* Supporting and mentoring an existing QA team member
* Collaborating with developers on testing approaches and quality improvements
* Building visibility of system health through test reporting and monitoring
* Supporting delivery of new features and complex product functionality
Tech & Environment
* Automation tools: Playwright, Cypress, Selenium (flexible)
* Web and API testing

What They’re Looking For
* Strong experience in automation testing
* Solid background in manual testing across web applications
* Experience building or contributing to automation frameworks
* Ability to define QA processes and improve testing practices
* Strong communication skills, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Proactive mindset with a desire to take ownership
Nice to Have
* Experience within eCommerce, subscription or product-led businesses
* Exposure to modern frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress
* Experience mentoring or supporting other QA engineers
