Reporting to
Director of Music Education
Key responsibilities
* Manage the planning and delivery of Severn Arts Music Education offer
* Build and maintain strong relationships with schools and key stakeholders
* Act as the main point of contact for school music leads across Worcestershire
* Manage Lead Teachers and Instrumental Teachers (variable hours) through quality assurance, strategic timetabling, monitoring of absence, target setting, report monitoring, support and training guidance.
* Support curriculum development, including the use of technology and AI in music education
* Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead
* Represent Severn Arts at events, meetings and across regional and national networks
What are we looking for?
* Degree in Music, Music Education or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Significant experience working within music education.
* Experience of managing teams, including performance management and quality assurance.
* Experience of working with schools and an understanding of the National Curriculum for Music.
* Ability to build strong partnerships with schools and stakeholders.
* Experience in data analysis, reporting and use of CRM systems.
* Creative thinker with a proactive and collaborative approach.
