This is a varied role combining food service, customer interaction, and cleaning responsibilities to support the delivery of a high-quality catering service. Due to the site’s location and limited public transport availability, a reliable mode of personal transport is essential. You will play a key role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while delivering excellent service in line with Sodexo and client standards. What you’ll do Provide a professional, friendly, and efficient food service to customers across catering outlets Assist with food preparation, presentation, and service in accordance with company standards Support service delivery including counter service, till operation, and hospitality requests Maintain high standards of cleanliness across dining areas, kitchen spaces, equipment, and utensils Complete cleaning schedules, temperature checks, and required documentation accurately Follow all food safety, hygiene, COSHH, and health & safety procedures at all times Replenish stock and ensure correct stock rotation practices are followed Deliver catering items to meeting rooms and clear service areas promptly Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations What you’ll bring Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or cleaning is desirable but not essential Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach Good understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and safe working practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A proactive, flexible, and reliable attitude Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and schedules Additional Requirements Ability to comply with all company and client policies, including health & safety and hygiene standards Willingness to undertake training and support continuous improvement A flexible approach to support other areas or duties as required Why Sodexo?: Working with Sodexo is more than a job; it’s a chance to be part of something greater.
