Location: Watford, Hertfordshire
Contract: Part-Time (2 Days per Week) – 1 Term
Salary: £34,398 – £52,490 pro rata (M1–UPS3)

Are you an experienced Secondary Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity? Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join a welcoming Independent Christian School in Watford for one term from September 2026.

About the Role
As a Secondary Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in your subject area to Key Stage 3 and/or Key Stage 4 students.
Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with curriculum requirements and departmental expectations.
Assess, monitor and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support achievement.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages high standards and a love of learning.
Support the Christian ethos of the school through teaching and pastoral care.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain and improve teaching standards.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities where possible.

What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
Proven experience teaching in a secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Professional, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
Appreciation of, and willingness to support, the Christian ethos of the school.
