The Role: We are seeking a patient, compassionate, and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team from September 2025. You will work closely with teachers to support children with complex needs, helping them engage with learning and develop their communication, social, and independence skills. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with autism, PMLD, and challenging behaviours. Assist in delivering personalised learning activities tailored to individual needs. Support communication using tools such as PECS, Makaton, and other augmentative methods. Help manage behaviour through positive, consistent strategies and de-escalation techniques. Support pupils’ sensory needs and help create a calm and inclusive learning environment.
