* Process supplier invoices and ensure they are accurately coded and authorised.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
* Manage payment runs, ensuring suppliers are paid on time.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Assist with month-end processes, including accruals and reporting.
* Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Support the wider accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:
* A background in accounting and finance or a related field.
* Experience in processing invoices and managing payment runs.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
