Job Details
Job Type: Full-time – 36.25 hours per week. Primarily Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Flexibility may be required for weekends or evenings to meet service needs.
Experience & Qualifications
* Relevant experience in training or education within healthcare or social care.
* Desirable: Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP).
* Strong knowledge of care practices, regulations, and standards.

Purpose of the Job
* Coordinate high-quality staff training tailored to their needs.
* Support development and delivery of training programs.
* Ensure services comply with legislation, CQC standards, and organisational policies.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver training for new and existing staff using various methods (E-Learning, face-to-face, external providers).
* Conduct training needs analysis via surveys, interviews, and evaluations.
* Create and update training materials and resources.
* Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
* Develop tailored training plans to address skill gaps and support staff development and succession planning.
* Adapt training to meet regulatory and organisational requirements.
* Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, making improvements as needed.
* Provide ongoing support and mentorship.
* Collaborate with managers to identify improvement areas and implement solutions.
* Maintain records of training activities and employee progress.
* Manage the E-Learning platform, ensuring content is current and accessible.
* Oversee induction programs for new staff.
* Work with external providers for training and professional development opportunities.
* Utilise the apprenticeship program with Independent Training Services.
* Communicate training schedules and updates effectively.
* Implement evaluation methods to assess training impact.
* Produce monthly training reports and statistics.
