Purpose of the role
Are you passionate about developing people and driving impactful learning initiatives? Colas is seeking an experienced and proactive Learning & Development Partner to join our HR Support Services team. Based at our Head Office in Solihull (B37 7YB) with UK travel required, you will play a key role in delivering our training strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting the growth of our employees across all levels.

Main Responsibilities
* Identify and prioritize training needs with business leaders.
* Coordinate and manage daily training requests, maintaining accurate training records.
* Support the implementation of the Learning and Development strategy in partnership with the Talent Development Manager.
* Design and deliver bespoke leadership and management development programs.
* Evaluate training effectiveness to assess ROI and ROE.
* Manage relationships with training providers, including contract and SLA negotiations.
* Support apprenticeship and graduate programs, including recruitment and onboarding.
* Assist with audits and budget reviews related to training activities.
* Maintain training matrices and ensure their alignment with the Learning Management System.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of L&D processes, systems, and policies.
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification in Learning and Development.
* Proven experience in a consultative or specialist L&D role.
* Strong understanding of the full learning cycle and talent development strategies.
* Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems.
* Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of apprenticeship schemes, funding, and industry training standards (desirable).
* Experience in construction or industrial sectors (advantageous).
