The Role An opportunity has arisen for an experienced UK Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and expand market presence across the UK. This is a senior, hands-on sales role combining account management, new business development and strategic market positioning within defined vertical markets. Reporting into a global sales leadership team, the successful candidate will take ownership of UK revenue, developing existing customer relationships while identifying and converting new opportunities. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, design and production teams to support bespoke, design-in sales and the introduction of new products. Key Responsibilities Full responsibility for UK sales revenue across assigned territories and market sectors Development and growth of existing customer accounts, with a focus on long-term partnerships Proactive identification and conversion of new customers through targeted prospecting Ownership and delivery of a structured growth plan and personal sales targets Identification and development of partners, solution providers and resellers Close collaboration with engineering and technical teams to support bespoke solutions and new product introductions Ongoing monitoring of market trends, competitor activity and industry developments Representation of the business at relevant industry events, exhibitions and networking forums (including occasional international travel) Candidate Profile Proven experience in a sales management or senior sales role within a component manufacturing or technical product environment Background in selling engineered, design-in or bespoke solutions rather than high-volume commodity products Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage complex sales cycles Confident communicator, able to influence at all levels within customer organisations Excellent negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills Degree in Electrical Engineering, Business or a related discipline is advantageous but not essential Package & Working Arrangements Competitive Salary Car allowance and fuel allowance Pension contribution and private healthcare Laptop, mobile phone and 25 days holiday Home-based role with regular travel to UK offices and customer sites Standard working week of 37.5 hours, with early finish on Fridays
