An opportunity for a Bid Writer to join our busy headquarters near Bicester. We are looking for a creative Bid Writer wanting to take the next step on their career journey. As a Bid Writer you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality bids and tender submissions. You will play a key role in helping to secure new contracts and retain existing clients by ensuring responses are clear, compelling and consistently aligned with the Company’s brand and service offering.
Ability to undertake essential research, write and edit of tender submissions, marketing materials, presentations and other collateral, developing compliant and compelling proposal content that aligns with our brand and values to PQQs, ITTs, RFPs, RFQs.
Proofreading of documents and ensuring consistent messaging, completeness and compliance
Contributing to and maintaining a content library – generating new content where appropriate and regularly refreshing existing material to ensure currency
Maintaining effective document management and version control for bid and bid related documentation
Completing work to a high standard and quality
Developing & maintaining internal relationships with key operational staff and management to improve the operational success stories and technical content
Keep up to date with industry trends, legislation and best practice to enhance bid quality and effectiveness
Excellent written English, with the ability to write clear, concise and compelling text
Exceptional attention to detail and proof-reading skills
Sound understanding of bid and proposal best practice, ideally with APMP accreditation or training
Flexible and organised - ability to work under pressure, plan workload, and work within flexible hours to meet strict deadlines
A forward-thinking, collaborative, and flexible approach with a great work ethic
A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality
Highly competent in using MS Office packages
