What You'll Be Doing
The Environment Manager oversees provisioning, configuration, and scheduling of IT environments to support testing and delivery. Reporting to the Head of Testing & QA, the role ensures environments are reliable, available, and aligned with project timelines. It mitigates risks related to availability and conflicts, playing a key role in the success of IT testing and delivery processes
* Provision and maintain test environments.
* Manage environment scheduling and allocation.
* Collaborate with project teams on environment requirements.
* Monitor and optimise environment performance.
* Manage environment-related risks and issues.
* Support environment configuration and data preparation.
* Document and standardise environment management.
What we're looking for

* Proven experience in managing IT environments in a testing or delivery context
* Robust understanding of environment provisioning, configuration, and scheduling practices
* Familiarity with tools and frameworks used for environment management and monitoring
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
* Good collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
* Knowledge of software development and testing lifecycles, including Agile methodologies, is desirable
* Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
* Certifications in relevant tools or frameworks (e.g. ITIL, DevOps, or cloud platforms) are advantageous
