An established, independent subsea engineering specialist on the South Coast is looking for a hands-on Design Manager to lead a small but highly capable design team supporting projects across renewables 🌊⚡
The team designs bespoke subsea equipment and cable-handling systems, often delivering turnkey solutions on fast-paced projects.
With plenty of variety and a full order book, this is a great opportunity to shape designs, mentor engineers and play a key role in future growth 🚀
This role blends leadership with real engineering.
The Design Manager will guide and grow the design team while staying close to the detail; developing concepts, solving problems from first principles and seeing designs through from idea to installation.
It’s a role for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves as much as steering the ship 🛠️
The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified in mechanical or structural engineering, with 10+ years’ post-graduate experience, ideally in marine or subsea environments.
