Salary: £6.50ph plus incentives. Hours: Full time, 7am–7pm — 3–4 shifts per week, including alternate weekends, plus an on-call weekend rota and 8 hours a week supernumerary time. Location: Edwinstowe, NG21 9PA. Employer: Nightingale Nursing & Care Home, owned by Jasmine Healthcare.

Team Leader: Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* You will promote residents’ independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, and contribute to shift handovers.
* Lead the team to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents by providing the highest standard of care.
* Support carers to provide personal care and assistance with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
* Administering medication.
* Promote residents’ choice, dignity and independence at all times.
Essential Requirements
* Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ minimum level 3).
* Minimum of one year’s experience in a residential/nursing home setting.
* Awareness of the principles of Person-Centred Care Planning.
* Full Driving Licence.
* Understanding of prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults, recognition of signs of abuse and procedures to follow in case of an allegation.
* Live within 30 minutes of the home.
Preferred Requirements
* Two years’ experience in a similar role in a nursing home.
* One year experience in a similar role in residential or nursing home; or two years’ experience in a Senior Care role in a residential or nursing home.
* One year experience caring for residents living with dementia.
* NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or above.
* Experience of managing a team.
