The Endoscopy/Day case Units at St Helier need you!
We provide a full range of Endoscopy diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for 16,000 patients per year and Day Case facilities for a variety of surgical specialties.
The service is usually provided Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic staff nurse.
Previous experience and knowledge of Endoscopy or day case is desirable but not essential.
Principal Duties
* Provide specialised care to meet the needs of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures and work as part of a team adhering to national and local policies, guidelines and procedures.
* Maintain high standards of care and safe practice within the endoscopy suite and document care appropriately.
* Practice autonomously in accordance with the NMC code of professional practice.
* Commit to personal professional development.
Qualifications
* Previous experience and knowledge of Endoscopy or day case is desirable but not essential.
