Overview
As a Private Client Legal Secretary, you will provide essential administrative support to fee earners in the Private Client Department, ensuring the smooth running of the department.
Responsibilities
* Taking dictation and typing correspondence, legal documents and reports
* Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and handling telephone calls
* Assisting with the preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate documents
* Liaising with clients and other professionals with excellent communication skills
* Maintaining and organising client files and records in line with compliance and firm policies
* Providing administrative support to the team as required
Qualifications
* You will have had prior experience of working within a Private Client department
* You will have strong administrative skills and ideally a background in administration
* Proficient in taking dictation and producing legal documents accurately and efficiently
* You will be looking for a long-term position in a firm that values and supports its employees
* Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and communication skills, able to manage a busy workload and client-facing tasks
