An educational opportunity is available for a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) specializing in K-12 instruction within a full-time, full-semester contract position. This role is based in Castle Rock, Colorado, supporting students across all grade levels.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Valid Colorado Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) license required
* Experience working with K-12 visually impaired students preferred
* Ability to manage and develop individualized educational plans for diverse learners
* Strong munication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and school staff
* Willingness to travel between school sites as part of the role
Location:
* Castle Rock, CO
Responsibilities:
* Deliver direct instructional services to students with visual impairments across K-12 grades
* Assess student needs and tailor educational strategies accordingly
* Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and support staff to ensure prehensive support
* Participate in team meetings and provide updates on student progress
* Manage caseload with organization and professionalism
* Travel to various school locations as required
