Belmont Recruitment are currently seeking experienced Cleaners / Housekeepers for multiple posts across Greater Manchester, including both full time and part time roles across a range of sites.
Overview:
The roles will be based across the following locations: Longsight, Openshaw, Claytonbrook, Newton Heath, Tameside, Didsbury, Oldham, Sedgley Park Prestwich, Stretford and Trafford Park.
Applicants are asked to provide a preferred working location, ideally a single preferred site.
Main Duties:
• Carry out general cleaning and housekeeping duties across designated sites
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and correctly
• Follow health and safety procedures, including COSHH requirements
• Work independently and as part of a wider cleaning team
• Ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
Essential Criteria:
• Previous cleaning experience within a medium to large scale organisation
• Excellent communication skills to understand written instructions and communicate effectively in the workplace
• Physically fit to carry out cleaning duties including lifting, bending, walking, pushing and handling equipment
• Understanding of health and safety requirements, particularly COSHH and safe use of equipment
• Good attendance and performance record
Part Time Roles:
Please note that two of the positions are part time:
Stretford:
25 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Shift patterns available: 07:00–12:00, 08:00–13:00 or 09:00–14:00
Trafford Park:
30 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Shift patterns available: 07:00–13:00, 08:00–14:00 or 09:00–15:00
