Management Accountant (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)📍 Location: [Exeter - Hybrid Working]
💰 Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

The OpportunityAn established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed term role sits within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, offering the opportunity to play a key part in supporting business performance, delivering accurate financial reporting, and partnering closely with operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production of monthly management accounts including variance analysis and commentary
2. Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
3. Business partnering with operations to provide financial insight and support decision-making
4. Balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls
5. Monitoring cost performance, margins, and KPIs across the business
6. Supporting year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
7. Identifying and implementing process improvements within the finance function
About You
8. Part-qualified or newly qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience
9. Previous experience within a manufacturing or fast-paced environment is highly desirable
10. Strong understanding of management accounting and reporting processes
11. Confident working with stakeholders across the business
12. Strong Excel skills and experience with finance systems
13. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work to tight deadlines
