About The Audit Public Sector Team
Forvis Mazars offers a world-class audit experience with deep, specialist knowledge of the Public sector. If you join Public Sector Audit, you will be part of a team that provides distinctive audit and advisory services, and works with central government bodies, local government bodies including councils, police and fire services, NHS Trusts and Integrated Commissioning Boards.
Role and training
As a graduate trainee, you\'ll complete a three-year training contract with:
* Year 1: Master the art of auditing; develop understanding of financial statements; work directly with diverse clients; build relationships with stakeholders.
* Year 2–3: Take on more complex audit work, including revenue recognition, valuation, risk assessments; lead audit engagements; mentor junior staff; join as a permanent employee.

* On track or have obtained an undergraduate degree; strong academics considered alongside other experiences.
* Curious, with ability to think critically and solve problems.
* Commitment to self-development and learning; strong ownership and responsibility.
* Resilient, good time management, and ability to travel; flexible working.
Learning and development
Fully funded professional qualification for this role: ACA. Coaching, mentorship, and one-on-one guidance. Time off to study and blended training (in-person and virtual).
