Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Blyth
Pay Rate: £140 – £190 per day

Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher eager to inspire curiosity about the world and engage students in their geographical learning?
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join a school in Blyth from September 2025. This role offers the chance to deliver high-quality lessons, foster a love for geography, and support students in developing critical skills in line with the national curriculum.
As a Geography Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable).
* Encourage students to explore key geographical concepts such as physical and human geography, environmental issues, and global perspectives.
* Adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including departmental initiatives and extracurricular activities.
Requirements for Geography Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in Geography.
* Previous experience teaching Geography at school level.
* Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
* A passion for inspiring young learners.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with explanations for any gaps.
