Job Description
We’re looking for a driven and capable Account Executive or Manager to join our Client Services team, in a role that combines strong account handling with a real opportunity to get stuck into marketing.
This role would suit either an exceptional Account Executive who is ready for the next step, or someone in the earlier stages of an Account Manager role who wants to build broader experience in the right environment.
You’ll support the day-to-day running of client accounts and projects, while also playing a key role in Spark’s own marketing activity, working closely with the Head of Marketing. Alongside that, you’ll support marketing delivery for retainer clients and gain wider exposure to more traditional account management work across a mix of projects.
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and commercially aware, with strong client service instincts and a genuine interest in marketing. This is a role for someone who wants to grow, take ownership, and build experience across both delivery and marketing, without being boxed into one lane too early.
Main duties and responsibilities
* Manage and prioritise your workload across client projects, retainers and internal marketing activity
* Support the day-to-day running of client accounts and maintain clear, reliable communication with clients and the wider team
* Help progress projects from brief to delivery, working closely with the wider Client Services team
* Write clear briefs, status updates and meeting notes to keep work moving
* Support the management of timings, budgets and scope, raising issues early where needed
* Work closely with Operations to support realistic planning and smooth delivery
* Support marketing activity for retainer clients across social, content and digital channels
* Work closely with the Head of Marketing to support Spark’s own marketing activity
* Contribute to content planning, copy development and campaign coordination where needed
* Build your experience across a wider range of client services and account management work
What we’re looking for
* Agency Experience: You should have previous experience working in an agency environment, with confidence supporting projects, clients and day-to-day delivery.
* Interest in Marketing: You are genuinely interested in marketing, with experience or enthusiasm across campaigns, content and social.
* Client Relationship Building: You are confident building strong working relationships and communicating clearly with clients and colleagues.
* Organised & Detail-Oriented: You are organised, reliable and able to keep on top of multiple tasks and priorities.
* Team Player: You work well with others, value collaboration and bring a positive, proactive approach to the team.
* Eager to Learn: You are keen to keep developing, build broader experience and get involved in a wide range of work across the agency.
* Proactive Problem Solver: You are not afraid to ask questions, seek clarity and take ownership of your part in a project.
