Overview
We are seeking a Post-doctoral Research Associate to join the Community and Health Research Unit (CaHRU) to contribute to clinical trials and applied health research across primary, prehospital, and acute care settings.
You will play a central role in planning, coordinating, and delivering clinical trials and related research projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, Chief Investigators, and external collaborators, acting as a key point of contact for project delivery, and contribute to trial governance processes and professional development within CaHRU.
Responsibilities
* Day-to-day trial management with adherence to protocols, standard operating procedures, ethical approvals, and regulatory requirements; oversee participant recruitment, data management, and monitoring activities.
* Contribute to trial governance processes, support meetings and oversight committees, maintain essential trial documentation including Trial Master Files, and ensure appropriate handling of confidential data.
* Prepare reports, publications, and presentations, and engage in wider research and professional development activities within CaHRU.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, Chief Investigators, and external collaborators, acting as a key point of contact for project delivery.
Qualifications / Requirements
* This role is well suited to a researcher with experience in clinical trials, quantitative research methods, and research governance, who enjoys managing complex projects and working collaboratively within a dynamic research environment.
