The Magic Wingdom is an independent chicken wing, burger & bao restaurant that offers cocktails, craft beers & wines in a not quite fast food environment.
We are on the hunt for a supervisor to assist the Manager with the daily operations of our restaurant. Experience within a hospitality setting is key and we are keen for someone who would like to progress their career within an exciting independent business.
The restaurant supervisor will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing the kitchen and bar staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities:
* Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities in the absence of the manager
* Ensure efficient and effective service delivery to meet customer satisfaction
* Manage and train new staff members
* Ordering & Stock Control
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all areas of the restaurant
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards
* Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
* Assist in the outdoor street food events where needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of bartending techniques is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
