QuantitySurveyor(NEC/Rail&Civils) SouthYorkshireorKent(Hybrid/Flexible) Upto£500aday(InsideIR35) CertainAdvantageishiringforaQuantitySurveyorbasedeitherinSouthYorkshireorKent,orpredominantlyremoteintheUK.ThisisanexcitingopportunitytojoinagrowingspecialistengineeringcontractordeliveringcomplexgeotechnicalandstructuralprojectsacrosstheUK.Thisroleisa6-monthinitialcontract(likelytobeextended)withahybrid,flexibleworkingmodelandrequiresveryminimaltravel. AreyouanexperiencedQuantitySurveyorwithstrongNECcompetency,lookingtoworkonvariedprojects,frommajorrailschemestocomplexstructuralandgeotechnicalassets,whereyourconfidencetomanagevariations,pushbackonclients,andprotectcommercialpositionswillmakeadirectimpact? TheCompany ,thebusinessmanagesapipelineofhigh-profileschemesandisdeliveringkeysolutionsacrosstheconstruction,rail,andcivilengineeringsectors. TheRole Youwilltakecommercialownershipofkey,high-profileprojectsfromprocurementthroughtocompletion,workingcloselywithdeliveryteamsandclients.Thisrolefeaturesheavyfocusondirectclientinteractionandcommercialnegotiation. Daytodayyouwill:

• Managecontractualrisks,variations,andchangemanagementprocessesacrossbothgeo(60%)andstructures(40%)projects.
• Maximisemonthlyvaluationsandensuretimelysubmission,assessment,andapprovalprocesses.
• Leadregularmeetingsandmaintainstrong,assertive,andconfidentrelationshipswithclientsanddeliveryteams.
• Review,negotiate,andagreecontractualtermsforupcomingtendersandhigh-riskprojects.
• Protectthecompany'scontractualpositionsandrobustlymanagevariationsandfinalaccounts.
• Handleasmallamountofsubcontractprocurementwithminimalreportingrequirements(CDRreports)comparedtoTier1contractors.

TheIndividual Wearelookingforpeoplewhocanshow:

• StrongNECcontractcompetencyandexperience,asNECcoversapproximately75%oftheworkload.
• Ideallyexperiencewithinthecivilengineering,railorgeotechnical.
• Astrongbackgroundinmanagingvariations,applications,andprotectingcommercialpositions.
