Sister/Charge Nurse Ward F6/F2N/ERAS Bay Cardiac Surgery

Ward F6 has 32 beds, and F2N has 16 beds, including a high care bay with 4 beds. Both wards specialize in Cardiac Surgery, caring for patients undergoing routine and complex cardiac and aortic surgeries. There is an exciting opportunity to join the 4-bed ERAS bay, designed for fast-track cardiac surgery patients, part of phase 2 of the ERAS pathway, caring for patients with arterial lines, central lines, noradrenaline, pacing wires, and drains from 8 hours post-surgery.
This role is ideal for experienced nurses eager to expand and progress their practice. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive support in education, preceptorship, and mentorship.
We seek individuals with a genuine interest in Cardiac Surgery who are dedicated, hardworking, and passionate about delivering high standards of patient care, with a motivation to develop their skills.
This is a 30-hour permanent position requiring a flexible approach to shift patterns, including nights and weekends.
