As a Classroom Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their full potential. Working closely with teachers and specialist staff, you’ll help create engaging learning experiences and provide tailored support for students with a range of abilities, including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). What You’ll Be Doing Providing 1:1 and small group support to help students thrive both academically and socially. Assisting in planning and delivering activities adapted to individual learning needs. Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment. Supporting pupils during lessons and activities to develop confidence, communication, and independence. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and professionals to track progress and celebrate achievements. Helping prepare classroom materials and learning resources. Providing personal care and ensuring students’ safety and well-being at all times. What We’re Looking For Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential — we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn above all. A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A genuine commitment to helping every child succeed.
