AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Annapurna Labs as part of AWS, is seeking for System Integration Engineer to help define, shape, and integrate solutions for the next generation of our cloud platforms. As System Integration Engineer you’ll join Annapurna’s product system team, which develops advanced technologies used across AWS data centers, supporting services like Nitro and Graviton.
You will take ownership of end-to-end system interfaces (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, DDR) throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to post-deployment debugging.


Key job responsibilities
1. Setting interface design strategies
2. Ensuring optimal design implementation
3. Driving complex system debugs involving hardware, firmware, and software components
4. Providing leadership to raise quality standards

This role requires a fast-paced, intellectually curious individual capable of setting high standards and constantly seeking improvements in performance, quality, cost, and reliability of AWS products and services. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to industry-changing innovations and push the boundaries of what's possible in cloud computing.
As System Integration Eng you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of AWS infrastructure, working on a scale that impacts millions of customers worldwide.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- B.Sc. in Electrical / Computer Engineering or in related field.
- 5+ years of HW Design Experience or in Functional or Electrical Integration/Validation/Debug.
- 3+ years’ system design experience
- Familiarity with high-speed interfaces and signal integrity concepts
- Basic skills in scripting: Python / Bash etc.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Familiarity with DDR interface (DDR4/DDR5).
- Computer architecture knowledge.
- High-speed interfaces knowledge and debug capabilities.
- Experience with server (x86 / ARM) design or architecture.
- Experience with operating systems, boot loaders, networking, and remote debugging.
