We at Harrogate Integrated Facilities are inviting applications for Bank Healthcare Porters role. Duties include patient movement, collection and delivery of specimens and instruments to ward and clinical areas, waste collection and to respond to requests to support/provide assistance for onsite security incidents.
Main duties of the job
As a HIF Healthcare Porter you will ensure a high quality, timely, responsive, and pro-active portering service, You will ensure that service users, materials and equipment are safely and appropriately transferred around the hospital.
This is a bank post to cover shifts 24 hours per day.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
To provide patient movement, collection and delivery of specimens and instruments to ward and clinical areas efficiently and with a positive and professional demeanour. Provide a full healthcare waste collection and disposal service ensuring the highest standards of segregation as instructed and in accordance with policy. Respond to requests to support/provide assistance for onsite security incidents.
