Criterion Hospitality is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Health & Safety Manager to support the delivery of best-in-class safety standards across our hotel portfolio.
This is a key operational role, working closely with the Group Head of Health, Safety & Security to ensure compliance, manage risk, and promote a strong safety culture across all properties.
The Role
* Support the implementation of the Group Health & Safety strategy across all sites
* Ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation and fire safety regulations
* Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the portfolio
* Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation
* Deliver H&S training and promote awareness across teams
* Work closely with Engineering, Operations, and site teams to ensure safe practices
* Support emergency planning and business continuity processes
* Liaise with external contractors and regulatory bodies
About You
* Experience in a Health & Safety role within hospitality, FM, or multi-site environments
* Strong understanding of UK health & safety legislation and compliance
* NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards) – desirable
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Hands‑on approach with attention to detail
* Ability to build relationships and influence across teams
