Claims Handler - Professional Indemnity Claims Team (Temporary FTC)
Working as a Claims Handler in our Professional Indemnity Claims Team, you will support the team in providing an effective and efficient claims service to our customers. You will be responsible for handling all allocated claims, ensuring adherence to company policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This is a temporary maternity leave cover position for 12 months.
Objectives and Responsibilities
1. Efficiently handle all claims allocated to you, managing a designated caseload from start to finish and liaising extensively with clients, insurers, claimants, policyholders, brokers, and other experts.
2. Deal with claims made by clients, including solicitors, developers, architects, IFAs, engineers, etc.
3. Refer claims outside your personal authority levels to your line manager.
4. Gather and process information to support the effective assessment of complex cases.
5. Conduct company business courteously and efficiently at all times.
6. Assist the Sales team in preparing for policy renewals.
