About the role
We're looking for a proactive and organised Fleet and Logistics Officer to help keep our responsive repairs and building services running smoothly. If you enjoy variety, problem solving and working with people, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact for our communities.
What you'll do
Manage and coordinate our fleet: servicing, MOTs, repairs, trackers and safety checks
Monitor fuel use, vehicle movements and compliance
Lead materials purchasing and supplier partnerships, including budget oversight
Carry out stock checks and support first-fix performance
Deliver inductions and training on safe working, equipment and vehicle use
Oversee tool purchasing, maintenance and waste management (including asbestos)
Support mobile working systems and vehicle tracking
Contribute to service improvements
Handle purchase orders, invoices, reporting and year end tasks
