Are you an experienced and motivated motor trade professional with a strong background in automotive parts procurement? Steer Automotive Group is looking for a Central Parts Advisor to support our fast-paced and high-performing Central Parts Team based in Tamworth.

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Central Parts Advisor to ensure smooth and efficient operations within our parts department.
About the Role
As a Central Parts Advisor, you’ll play a key role in the procurement and distribution of vehicle parts across our network. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the right parts are sourced and delivered on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities
14. Process and manage daily parts orders accurately and efficiently
15. Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure prompt delivery and stock availability
16. Monitor and maintain stock levels, including handling obsolete parts and returns
17. Use procurement systems (such as Autoflow) to track and manage parts flow
18. Support the team with the coordination of back-ordered items and alternative sourcing
19. Maintain accurate records and documentation for orders and deliveries
20. Contribute to a clean, well-organised, and compliant office environment
21. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to support repair operations
About You
You’re a detail-oriented team player with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of parts operations within the motor trade.
You’ll bring:
22. Experience working in a motor trade or accident repair parts department
23. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
24. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment
25. Good knowledge of parts systems and stock control platforms (. Autoflow)
26. Professional and friendly communication skills, both written and verbal
27. A proactive, solution-focused approach to problem-solving
