SEND Learning Support Assistant * West Yorkshire – Pudsey * October 2025 We work exclusively with a number of SEND schools and alternative provisions who require extra support with students who have been identified with Social, Emotional Behavioural or Mental Health issues (BESD, EBD, SEMH). We have a variety of short-term, long-term and permanent opportunities with our client schools across West Yorkshire. We offer full induction training and Level 2 Team Teach certification by our inhouse training team. These roles are generally term time only Mon-Fri. Duties include: * Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis * Support the class teacher in addressing the needs of the pupils * Assist pupils who need particular help with behaviour management to overcome barriers to learning * Help to develop and implement IEPs/EHCPs and behaviour management strategies The ideal candidate will be: * Have an understanding of needs including BESD, EBD, SEMH and other SpLD * Be patient, resilient and empathetic to students’ individual needs * Experience of working with children and young adults as either a Youth Worker, a Sports Coach or within an education setting would be advantageous * An up-to-date DBS that is on the DBS Update Service (or be willing to undertake a new one) * Proof of Safeguarding at a minimum of Level 1 (or be willing to undergo online training) Provide Education is a leading education recruitment agency placing Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Cover Supervisors, HLTAs and Nursery Nurses into Schools and Nurseries across Yorkshire and the East Midlands.
