ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER 3 days per week
Ellon Medical Practice is seeking an enthusiastic Advanced Nurse Practitioner to enhance our forwardthinking clinical team. We are a wellestablished, supportive training and undergraduate teaching practice, committed to delivering exceptional, evidencebased care to a growing patient population of approximately 15,500.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work autonomously to provide highquality, holistic, patientcentred care in line with practice protocols and clinical governance standards. You will collaborate closely with our supportive GP team while maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
This role involves advanced clinical assessment, independent decisionmaking, and the diagnosis and management of acute presentations. We are looking for an expert practitioner who thrives in a fastpaced Primary Care environment. Although house visits are kept to a minimum thanks to a fulltime Advanced Care Practitioner provided by the Aberdeenshire Health & Social Care Partnership, this role would require a share of covering house visits when our ACP is unavailable.
Essential Requirements
1. Completed RCNaccredited Advanced Clinical Practice qualification (or equivalent)
2. Registered nonmedical prescriber
3. Previous experience in Primary Care, a Minor Injuries Unit, or a comparable clinical setting
4. Proven ability to work autonomously with advanced clinical judgement
5. Excellent communication skills and highly developed specialist knowledge
6. A proactive approach and strong commitment to teamwork
