Neos Global Search is partnering with a leading UK fund, to raise the bar with a calibre addition to its core team.
The successful individual will lead on the sourcing and raising of new investment across a number of focus-specific funds. The individual will oversee and manage the process of fundraising including designing a fundraising strategy, identifying and documenting supporting evidence as well as researching opportunities and completion of tender submissions.
You will identify and help build relationships with institutional investors as well as private and public sector organisations.
You will be pivotal to the construction of future projects to be created and maintained, coordinating resources from across the group for Financial, marketing and Strategic input.
Key deliverables
* To develop and deliver an annual fund raising plan – engaging with relevant LPs and identifying opportunities for new funds to be delivered
* Create and implement an Investor Relations plan that underpins the Group’s fundraising strategy
* Raise the bar of the Group’s fund raising strategy
* Take the lead on mapping the investor base focussing on regions operated in or desirable regions – pension funds, family offices, HNWs, etc
* Identify suitable investor targets for capital raising
* Cultivate lasting relationships – attend suitable conferences and networking events
* Lead on the preparation of third-party Fund Management contract bids
* Analysing feedback from previous fundraising activity to inform future activity
* Work in close collaboration with the Investment Leadership Team on strategic planning and new fund development
* Manage responses to new fund management tender opportunities as appropriate, ensuring that relevant project groups are formed for their completion
The person
* A background is fundraising, investor relations or business development within PE, private banking, family office or investment fund
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence within and outside the organisation
* Excellent report writing, tender completion and presentation skills
* A commercially-minded self-starter, able to take initiative and motivate others
* Good organisational and project management experience
* Ability to work, and build relationships, across multi-disciplinary teams internally
* Good knowledge of industry and commerce, particularly relating to the financial needs of SME’s
* Clean driving license
